When we asked for your thoughts regarding Whitney Port’s fashion line, the “Eewww!” responses we received out numbered the yays!

Well, it looks like we don’t see eye to eye with Whit’s former bosses at Teen Vogue.

“Whitney has good taste. The designs are simple and chic. They reflect her sense of style. We’d consider them for Teen Vogue,” senior West Coast editor Lisa Love tells In Touch Weekly.

On a side note, Lisa from Teen Vogue was far less enthusiastic about their former intern Lauren Conrad’s line. The only thing she had to say about LC’s line was, “It’s more T-shirt kinds of things and jeans, basics.”

Ha!

Anyways, they both suck.

There’s no way those Hills girls would have landed their own lines without the show, right?

Starting this Sunday, China’s state television will be airing a 50-part Bruce Lee documentary called The Legend of Bruce Lee in prime time.

50 part!!!!!! Damn, sitting through all that is COMMITMENT.

Two episodes will air consecutively every night in a two-hour slot til the end of the series.

Americans don’t have the attention span for a fifty-part series dedicated to one person!

The kung fu master’s documentary was shot in China, Hong Kong, Macau, the U.S., Italy and Thailand over nine months.

The documentary series is seen as a ‘belated’ hero’s welcome for Bruce Lee. At the peak of his career, his countrymen didn’t ‘feel’ his influence because at that moment China was a ‘closed’ communist country and his movies weren’t allowed into the nation.

The state television channel has spent $7.3 million on the documentary. It’s the country’s first movie or TV series on the kung fu master.

And, according to reports, unlike past films about Lee, the 50-part documentary is unusually detailed in tracing Lee’s life, from his teenage years in Hong Kong to his move to the U.S., where he studied and taught martial arts, to his movie career and early death at 32.

Danny Chen, the actor who plays Lee in the doc said, “We’ve only seen the glorious side of Bruce Lee — he comes out all guns blazing, his films are entertaining. But very few people know what injuries he suffered and what grievances he suffered.”

The documentary was originally scheduled to air right before the Beijing Olympics, but was pushed back because of the deadly May earthquake in China’s central Sichuan province which killed 70,000 people.

Will us non-Chinese get to see the mondo Lee documentary?

We do have the Bruce Lee Broadway musical to look forward to in 2010!

The international superstar that is Rihanna has got some magic up her sleeves for us on her fourth album, due in 2009.

Though she says the album is going in a more “techno rock” direction, it will have a couple eclectic tracks. One of the three that she is writing completely on her own is going to be more punk-rock.

But, this will all be processed through a pop lens - so fret not.

Think more Disturbia and less Hate That I Love You.

Overall, RiRi wants the album to be edgier than her smash Good Girl Gone Bad.

She is also in the process of synthesizing a new hotter look for herself.

We can’t wait for her new album! We’re totally excited for more RiRi we can shake our booties to!

It looks like the ‘Janet has vertigo’ chatter was based on a supposed “interview” given by brother Randy.

Well, Randy has taken to his MySpace page to debunk the vertigo rumors.

He says:

Rumors started by the owner of a Michael Jackson fan site has stated that they had an exclusive interview with Randy Jackson, and during this interview he said that his sister Janet had canceled shows because she has an illness called “Vertigo.” Randy has not and will not speak publicly about the health of his sister, or her reasons for canceling any of her shows. This “interview” never happened.

What’s the real scoop then?!

David Goyer, one of The Dark Knight screenwriters of , confirms what we already knew - All those Dark Knight sequel rumors:

“It’s all B.S. ALL of it,” Goyer told MTV. “Chris and I haven’t even talked about it. He quite understandably is taking a long, long vacation and wants to purge himself.”

So No, Christopher Nolan has not yet signed on for a third film. No story has been discussed beyond the point of a few musings during production of the last film, no actors have been contacted about auditions, and no actors have been cast.

Nick Nolte was fortunately able to escaped a fire that burned his Malibu home to the ground with minor injuries. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the actor slightly cut his hand when he broke a window and fled the home shortly after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. TMZ reports when firefighters arrived, the Malibu house was burning and Nolte was trying to put the blaze out himself. Nolte also suffered some smoke inhalation and he’s still at the house but plans to see his Dr. today. Down and out in the Malibu hills?

The Sheriff’s Department says an electrical malfunction caused the fire, which caused an estimated $3.5 million in damage and may have left the home a total loss.
