Lost’s Daniel Dae Kim is staying in Hawaii with a lead role on CBS’ upcoming remake of Hawaii Five-0 playing Detective Chin Ho Kelly.

As for the part of Detective Steve McGarrett, Moonlight star Alex O’Loughlin is rumored to be up for the role.

Kim is the first member of the Lost cast to secure a new series for pilot season as Lost’s series finale approaches in May.

Hopefully it’s a good gig so he can remain in paradise, but we’re not sure how many people want a Hawaii Five-0 remake.
