Bloodsuckers aren’t what they used to be. No one wants a blood-curdling Nesferatu for a lover, after all. Even Dracula has lost his appeal after Tinseltown has created sexy vampires on the big screen like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, in “Interview with a Vampire” and most recently, “Twilight’s” Robert Pattinson (I have the urge to watch that movie again). On TV, the male vampires rule, too, such as David Boreanaz of “Angel”, Alex O’Loughlin of “Moonlight”, and “True Blood’s” Stephen Moyer (who dresses poorly for a vampire). Too bad “Moonlight” was axed. Alex made such a hot vampire-detective, after all.
