Guy Ritchie has very wisely chosen to call it a day with Madonna and not battle it out for any of her money. He will walk away from the 8-year marriage without a cent of Madonna’s $30 million fortune.

Rather than squeeze Madge for a rent check, Ritchie would rather choose his battles and fight for a joint custody of the couple’s two sons, Rocco and David, in hopes they’ll divide their time between New York City and London.

Ritchie will likely walk away from this divorce contradicting the gold-digging reputation some have pinned on him recently, with people close to the couple saying:

It will be all over by the end of the month. The priority for him has always been the children…Ritchie could have taken her to the cleaners. He is a very honourable man to have walked away.”

On a side note, Madonna looked ridiculous last night at some gala wearing a dress made out of shrubbery that looked more like the costume-y urban version of something a dancer would wear to perform in a Hawaiian Luau. You still got it Madge!
