Legally Blonde the musical is ending its run on Broadway on October 19th.

It has been playing at the Palace Theatre since April 29, 2007 and will have played 30 previews and 595 regular performances upon closing.

The show has had problems recently getting people to fill those seats, this despite the recent MTV show looking for the next Elle Woods.

Sources say as of late its been playing to houses that are 60% full in a theater with almost 1,700 seats.

Ouch!

The first national tour of Legally Blonde kicked off on September 23.

Hope the show’s doing better on the road!
