After another ugly performance at this past weekend’s V Festival, Amy Winehouse is reportedly heading to rehab.? Yeah, I can’t believe it either. But it wasn’t Amy, her record company, or ‘her people’ that initiated the return. According to the UK Sun, actor and funny man Russell Brand got the rehab wheels turning.

Brand supposedly found out that Amy was looking for a flat to be ‘closer’ to husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s countryside jail, and he reached out to the head of Focus 12, a rehab facility near Blake’s prison, suggesting that Amy get treatment locally while she’s close to her husband. Focus 12 is the ’small and friendly’ clinic where Brand was able to kick his own addictions. The rehab facility bosses agreed and contacted the troubled singer through friends.

Amy’s dad, Mitch, said, “This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good.”?

The husband a junkie in prison, the wife near by in rehab. What could possibly be wrong with this picture? Blake by the way, could be released by Christmas.
