Jessica Simpson is the cover girl for September’s Elle Magazine.? In the interview she?tells the mag that all of the songs on her forthcoming country album (on which she worked with Dolly Parton) are written from personal experience.
On if she’s been physically abused: “I don’t want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”
Her song?”Remember That,” features the lyrics: “It doesn’t matter how he hurts you, With his hands or with his words, You don’t deserve it, It ain’t worth it, Take your heart and run.”
