The New York Post reports that Paula Abdul’s ex-boyfriend, J.T. Torregiani, is in talks to be the next “The Bachelor.” A source said that 33-year-old J.T. was asked to be “the man” a couple of years ago by producers of the show, but he met Paula so he turned their offer down. The two broke up last month, and apparently the offer is back on the table. They moved in together last October after dating for almost six months before breaking up.

J.T. is a partner at The Dolce Group, a restaurant group in Los Angeles founded by Mike Boogie from Big Brother.

If J.T. chooses to do the Bachelor gig, he will be basically going from dating one very crazy women to dating 25 crazy ladies at a time. So me might consider his time with Paula, as training!
