Lindsay Lohan has landed herself a guest appearance on the ABC’s Ugly Betty finale.? The part sounds like it’d be right up her alley. The Observer’s source has her playing “a fallen beauty queen who takes a gig as the assistant manager of the fast food chain where Betty’s dad toils… Betty befriends Lohan’s character, who has fallen on tough times since high school.” Perhaps this could help Lohan revive her acting career.

The 21-year-old actress is set to play an old schoolmate ofAmerica Ferrera’s character Betty Suarezon the show’s May 22 season closer, according to the trade paper Variety.

Both Variety and Usmagazine.com said Lohan began shooting her scenes during the weekend. Lohan also is expected to appear in five episodes of “Ugly Betty” next season.
