Not far removed from an uproar created by her recent Vanity Fair “topless” portrait, a still-smiling Miley Cyrus took to the stage at the Disney Channel Games concert on Saturday night (May 3).
Thanking fans for their continued support, Miley spoke to the crowd following her performance, saying: “I hope you had an awesome time. I saw a sign back there that said, ‘Miley, I’m praying for you.’ I could not be more appreciative.”
The 15-year-old Disney star continued: “Thank you guys for all your support. Without you, none of this would be possible. I love every one of you and I could not be more appreciative. God bless you.”
According to People reports, Cyrus started the night off with her hit tune ‘See You Again’ - also debuting two new songs off of her upcoming album, ‘Fly on the Wall’ and ‘Breakout.’”
Sure to be a big seller, photo controversy or not, Miley’s latest studio endeavor hits store shelves on July 22, 2008.
