In the vast array of hats that she wears every day, Paris Hilton always takes time to remember her role as a responsible pet owner.

And yesterday the “Hottie and the Nottie” starlet was spotted over at the Beverly Glen Center stopping into a pet store for a new pet basket and a few goodies.  She even took a moment to cuddle a cute little puppy.

Meanwhile, according to Paris’ boyfriend Benji Madden, we may hear wedding bells sooner than later.  He recently told press that an engagement in the next six months could be likely. “I’m not gonna bet against you on that. We’ll see. I’m very, very happy right now.”

He continued, “I always knew that she was, like, wife material, or serious girlfriend material.” As for their whirlwind romance, Madden said, “You know you just walk around feeling lucky all day. You just want to get on top of a mountain and go, ‘I’m in love!’”
