Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and family will be spending the next few months in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera. The Jolie-Pitt brood arrived with two nannies and three security guards in tow, on Monday evening, via private jet, and were transported to the breathtaking seaside villa of billionaire Paul Allen.? The home is nestled between Nice and Monaco.
The co-founder of Microsoft owns Villa Maryland and has made the property available to the Hollywood celebrities while they search for a more permanent location.
As reported by E! Online, Allen, met Jolie when she was doing Shark Tale in 2004. The DreamWorks project was reportedly bankrolled by Allen, who first opened his home to the couple in 2006 when Angelina was pregnant with Shiloh. Brad and Angie stayed at Villa Maryland for a week and fell in love with the picturesque setting overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Angelina later delivered Shiloh in Namibia, Africa.
The villa is regularly staffed by twelve employees and is said to be safeguarded with fences and security gates. The family will be scouting out homes in the region as the family plans to stay through the summer until Angelina gives birth.
While in the French Riviera, there will be a few more photo opportunities for Angelina and Brad. They will be attending the 61st Cannes Film Festival where two of Angelina’s films will be previewed during the week long event. Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood, is a 1920’s kidnap thriller. The other ‘less serious film’ is the animated, Kung Fu Panda with Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, and Jack Black.
There is also speculation that Jolie and Pitt will get married this summer aboard the massive yacht called ‘Octopus’, owned by Allen. The $200 Million boat boasts a twin helicopter pad, basketball court and 60 staff.
