Born on January 28, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kathryn Morris studied at Temple University in Philadelphia. She penetrated the entertainment scene playing minor roles in film and on television. Her early projects included Long Road Home, As Good As It Gets, Sleepstalker, Deterrence, and Inferno to name a few. Her breakthrough role came with her inclusion on the series Pensacola: Wings of Gold. Following this, she landed more notable roles in movies like Minority Report, Paycheck, and Resurrecting the Champ. In addition, she also graced the theater world in productions of Lovers and Other Strangers, Waiting for Lefty, The Fantasticks and Crimes of the Heart.
Playing Detective Lilly Rush on the series Cold Case gives Morris the opportunity to become the show’s center of attention. Her pursuit of “cold cases” is certainly enthralling to crime drama enthusiasts. Her fierce expertise as a female detective mixed with her empathetic consideration for the victims is an entertaining feature fans look forward to watch.
